You Might Not Have Visited These Parts Of The UK, But You Should!
Because of the fact that it is, comparatively, incredibly small, people tend to assume that there’s not really that much to see and do in the UK. After all, you could fit England inside the state of Texas and still have plenty of room! However, just because a place is small doesn’t mean that there aren’t heaps of spots to see and things to do there. In fact, there are many places in the UK that you might be aware of but have never really felt like you needed to visit. However, these kinds of places actually have a lot more to offer than you might initially think. With that in mind, here are a few parts of the UK that you might never have visited, but definitely should!

Swansea
If you’re looking for a fantastic city break but you’re starting to feel like the kind of cities that you’ve been to before are losing some of their charm, then Swansea is the place for you! There are so many bars and restaurants in Swansea that you’re unlikely to ever run out, no matter how many times you visit! Of course, it’s not all about the nightlife. The city has plenty of attractions for you to check out and visit during the day as well, from museums that can teach you about the city’s history to the beaches and docks that allow you to get a serious lungful of that fresh sea air!
Cambridge
If you want to get away and enjoy somewhere with some serious class, then there really is nowhere better in the UK than Cambridge. Cambridge is obviously famous for its university, and with good reason, but that’s far from the only reason for you to visit. The town itself is filled with gorgeous little shops and markets, and even the pub where the human genome was first sequenced! If you’re looking for a slightly more relaxed experience, why not just sit and read in the sunshine on the banks of the river Cam, or really embrace the spirit of the town by punting down the river yourself?
London
Hang on! You’re probably thinking, “Surely everyone knows about London?!” Well, of course, they do. England’s capital is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the world. However, there’s a big difference between the tourist version of London and “the real London.” Rather than going for all the obvious places that are on just about every tourist’s checklist, why not go off the beaten path? The best way to do this is to befriend some locals and get them to show you some of London’s real hidden gems. Of course, if you don’t know any locals, there are plenty of places online where you can find some of London’s very best kept secrets. Not only will you discover some new and exciting places, but you’ll be able to escape from the huge crowds of tourists that often make walking through London such a stressful experience!
