Discover Florida: A Perfect Holiday Destination For Every Traveler
When you think about Florida, you may immediately conjure up images of theme parks and tourist hotspots. It’s true that Florida has its fair share of sights and attractions, but it has a lot more to offer than that. If you’re planning a vacation of any type this summer, Florida could be a perfect choice. Here are some highlights to explore on your next holiday.

Orlando
When talking about top vacation spots, it seems wrong to start anywhere but Orlando. This is the heartbeat of Florida and the best place to discover the sights and enjoy the thrills and spills. You could easily spend a couple of weeks exploring the many parks, embracing the adrenaline-pumping activities, or reliving your childhood while meeting some of your favourite film and TV characters. The best-selling attractions include Walt Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Studios. If you want to be at the centre of the action, book a hotel within the resorts. If you’re looking for a bargain, head slightly out of town. You’ll find that many hotels offer free shuttle buses to the main Orlando sights.
The Gulf Coast
Although tourists have been flocking to Florida for decades, the Gulf Coast remains a relatively untouched gem. Here you’ll find sweeping beaches, charming seaside resorts, and tranquil turquoise waters where you’ll be able to escape the crowds, particularly in low season. When you’ve had your fill of beach time, take a couple of days to explore the main towns: historic Pensacola and Apalachicola are well worth a visit. If you’re eager to take advantage of the stunning shores, why not rent a beach house? There is an amazing array of Gulf Coast vacation rentals on offer.
Miami
Achingly hip Miami is known for attracting the rich and famous. Here you can enjoy everything, from laid-back beach life to wild nights on the tiles. Famous for its Art Deco architecture, Miami oozes glamour and is a perfect place for a short break. Go shopping or indulge in a fine dining treat. Meander around the galleries and museums. Take a surf lesson or grab a cool cocktail at an al fresco beach bar.
Florida Keys
The Keys offer the opportunity to see a completely different side of Florida. Far from the hustle and bustle of the honeypot sites, you’ll find a much more relaxed pace of life. There’s a noticeable island influence here, and it’s an idyllic base for relaxing and recharging your batteries. Key West is the flagship destination, and it’s no wonder why. Marvel at the pastel coloured houses, take a stroll on the powdery sands, and catch the sunset. After a couple of days in paradise, you’ll wonder why on earth you’ve taken this long to visit.
For many of us, Florida is all about the bright lights and neon nights. But it’s actually so much more than a theme park destination. You can enjoy Florida at any age, regardless of the kind of holiday you’re looking for. Head for a tropical retreat in the Keys or walk the languid shores of the Gulf Coast. See the sights in Orlando or be seduced by the glitz and glamour of Miami.
