A Little Luxury Travel in Thailand

Thailand is perhaps more synonymous with solo backpacking and budget travel than it is with luxury vacations, but there is plenty of luxury to be had in this wonderful Southeast Asian country. From out of this world food to pristine beaches and intriguing culture, it is the place to go if you’re looking for a luxury vacation with a difference.

Travel in Style

If you want to start your luxury Thai holiday out right, then you should seriously consider private jet hire, especially if you’re travelling long haul. That way, you won’t have to spend hours queued up in the airport, and you’ll have plenty of space to relax and prepare for the luxury that awaits you when you touch down in Thailand.

Stay at a Luxury Beach Retreat

If you want to be pampered during your stay in Thailand, then avoid the city hotels and head straight for an upmarket beach retreat like the Sovena Kiri in Koh Kood, where you’ll get your own private villa and buggy to get around the resort, and you’ll be treated to spectacular views of your own private beach, complete with the whitest of sands, freshest of coconuts, and clearest of waters. You’ll never want to leave.

Eat the Street Food

There are lots of fabulous restaurants in Thailand, and you could be forgiven for thinking that eating at these establishments would give you the best food experience while you’re there, but actually, Thailand’s street food is out of this world. The flavors are so delicate and fragrant and the colors so vibrant, that you absolutely must sample them while you’re there. Sure, try the restaurants too, but don’t ignore the street food thinking that it might be unsafe or low quality, because you would truly be missing out.

Book a Thai Massage

If it’s all-out luxury you’re looking for, you’d be hard pressed to beat the sheer unadulterated bliss of a professional Thai massage. You might think those Thai massages you get at the local spa are divine, but you truly haven’t sampled the delights of a good massage until you’ve had one in Thailand itself. Beautiful scented oils and experienced masseuses will combine to give you the experience of a lifetime, which although it might feel uncomfortable at first, will leave you feeling blissed out and more relaxed than you’ve ever been. Indulge yourself and have a Thai Massage every day – you won’t regret it.

Drink Champagne at the Sky Bar

If you want to explore all that Thailand’s nightlife has to offer, you simply must head to Bangkok’s Lebua Hotel, and specifically its Sky Bar, which towers 820 feet over the city, making it the highest bar of its type in the world currently. The drinks flow, the service is first-class, and you get the most spectacular views of the city below, which is truly a sight to behold when it’s all lit up in the evening.
